2/15/23 – This is an original holster for a CZ model 39 pistol from WW2. The holster looks just like a P.38 hard shell holster, except there’s no P.38 designation stamp on the back leather. Instead, there’s a P.(39)t ink stamp on the interior leather as shown. There is also a waffen WaA47 stamp along with a ’41’ date on the back of the holster. There’s also a very faint “cga” maker stamp on the back leather above the belt loops. The leather is in great condition and crisp with minimal pliability and some mild surface wear on the interior and exterior. It appears that the back straps have been re-stitched; apart from that, there are no notable stitching issues. The interior is clean and the lift strap is secure.
