10/5/22 – This is a very nice example of an early Winchester Model 70, manufactured in 1940 and chambered in .22 Hornet. The gun is all matching and comes equipped with an original J.W. Fecker rifle scope (excellent optics) and original J.W. Fecker scope mounts. The gun is very nice. The barrel and receiver have very little signs of wear except for a few tiny handling marks. The majority of the finish loss is on the floor plate and trigger group, where there is also some brown patina. Minty wood stock. Comes with a period-correct leather sling. The bore is like-new.
