11/16/22 – This is an original 1940 dated Luger holster from WW2. The holster is dated with a maker stamp, waffen proof, and P.08 stamp on the back leather. The back belt loops are re-stitched, as shown in photos. The rest of the stitching is original however. The leather has normal pliability but the lid is slightly more pliable than the body of leather. There’s some surface scuffing and wrinkling on the exterior leather. Most of the wear is found on the lid of the holster, where there’s some deeper scuffing and some surface cracking but none of this goes all the way through the leather.
