2/6/23 – This is an original 1940 dated holster for a CZ model 39 pistol from WW2. The holster looks just like a P.38 hard shell holster, except there’s no P.38 designation stamp on the back leather. Instead, there’s a P.(39)t ink stamp on the interior leather as shown. The leather is excellent and crisp with minimal pliability and some mild surface wear on the interior and exterior. No notable stitching issues and all original stitching. Maker stamped by a somewhat unusual maker on the back leather. Also date stamped and waffen military proof stamped. There’s an added “SA” stamp added to the front leather as shown – we’re not sure the significance as this was added post-factory.
