9/5/24 – This is a rare variation Kriegsmarine issued Luger holster from WW2. The holster is maker stamped on the back leather, “Karl Böcker, Waldbröl” with a 1939 date, WaA727 military acceptance proof, and a Kriegsmarine Eagle/M proof. The eagle is faint (as they often are) and mostly not visible due to the minor indents in the leather around this area. Luckily, the important swastika and “M” are clearly visible and proper font / style. Guaranteed original. The holster leather is in great condition with normal age and pliability. No major flaws or issues, but the typical surface wrinkling and scuffing is found mostly on the top leather / lid and closure strap. There’s two small indents near the toe of the holster, which could be “kill tabs” but the way they line up suggests perhaps this was tied down by a leg lanyard of some sort. The interior leather shows normal use wear. Excellent all original stitching throughout. A great example of a rare Kriegsmarine holster with honest use wear.
