1/27/23 – This is an original CZ model 36 pistol made in 1939. The pistol comes as a complete rig with an original leather CZ style holster and a spare magazine (2 magazines total). The pistol is mechanically sound and retains about 92-95% of the original finish. There’s a spot of discoloration on the slide, near the serial number. There’s also some mild surface patina within the finish on the front and back strap, as well as some mild edge wear along the muzzle and frame. The grip has a crack on the left side, starting at the back spine, as shown in photos. Mechanically sound with a nice bore that has strong rifling but some honest wear, surface patina, and very light pitting in the grooves. Should still be fine for shooting and functionality, and we rate the bore 7/10 overall. These pocket pistols are believed to be carried by German Officers and other officials who tended to prefer smaller pocket pistols for everyday carry.
