8/9/22 – This is a Weimar era / pre WW2 production Police Luger holster. The holster is maker stamped and dated on the back leather with a Sunburst Star Police proof stamp. To the right of the belt loops is a Police Unit or distributor stamp as shown. The belt loops, closure strap, and stitching around the toe of the holster has been re-stitched. There’s also a few loose stitches on the front retaining strap of leather, but this doesn’t affect functionality and the straps are all still attached. The leather shows aging, surface wrinkling, some mild cracking, and is pliable overall. The interior leather is fairly clean.
