10/29/24 – For sale is a Model 1903 rifle made by Rock Island Arsenal in 1908. The rifle was then reworked and rebarreled in 1918. The finish is well worn on the rifle with most of the original finish worn away with it browning with age. There are some small spots of pitting visible on the right side of the receiver but it is not deep. The stock has been heavily sanded but is free of any cracks or breaks. The proof stamps on the stock are barely visible. The top of the handguard towards the barrel has an arsenal repair. The bore is bright but starting to get frosty. The muzzle erosion rates a 1. The rifle comes with a M1907 style sling.
