1/25/24 – This is a Remington Rolling Block Spanish Model rifle from the 1800’s, chambered in .43 Caliber. It has the proper “Crown RV” marking around the breech. The entire gun is in fair condition with obvious oxidation and heavy pitting throughout. No major damage to the wood, but there are obvious signs of heavy use. Small hairline crack just in front of the rear sling swivel. The bore is poor – worn rifling with obvious oxidation and heavy pitting throughout. The gun is fully functional.
