6/27/22 – This is an original 1941 dated K98 bayonet with an original matching numbered scabbard. The bayonet also comes with a leather frog that’s unmarked and in great condition. The bayonet blade has excellent bluing throughout with some mild finish loss but no rust, pitting, or sharpening. The hand guard and pommel show surface patina and typical discoloration / aging wear throughout. The scabbard has no dents or major issues.
