3/4/24 – This is an original and rare SEARS made 1911 A1 Colt holster. The back of the holster has a Sears maker marking and 1942 date stamp. The closure flap has a distinct “US” embossed on the front. The holster leather is in good condition with some moderate cracking along the side of the toe of the holster and on top of the closure flap. The stitching and rivets are all tight and secure. There is one minor tear on top of the closure strap that’s about one inch long but does not affect the overall functionality of the holster. The interior leather is clean. The holster is marker stamped and dated “Sears 1942” on the backside of the holster and US on the front closure strap.
