10/30/24 – For sale is a Winchester Model 66 Centennial rifle chambered in .30-30 Winchester. This rifle was made to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of Winchester Repeating arms (1866-1966). A total of just over 102,000 units were made. The gun is based on the Model1894 with a gold plated receiver and a brass buttplate. The Gold plating has handling scratches and some finish peeling on the left side but the right side has multiple spots of oxidation. The stock and handguard are excellent. The lever action is smooth and the trigger break is nice. The bore is bright with great rifling. The rifle comes with the original box insert but is missing the outer sleeve. The box is heavily worn and should be handled with care.
