11/22/24 – This is a very scarce and desirable limited production copy of an original WWII German MP43/44 Sturmgewehr assault rifle, manufactured in semi-automatic. These are current new manufactured rifles made in Germany circa 2012, by Sport-System Dittrich and imported by the PTR Company of Farmington CT. While only approximately 200 were ever actually imported into the U.S., the actual number that remains in existence is closer to 150 as Recon Ordinance bought all supply and used about 50 of them for donor parts as these were originally notorious for mechanical issues. These are a real true faithful copy of a WWII weapon that has the same outward appearance, weight, and feel as an original WWII MP-44. This particular example is near-mint, with no notable wear. Minty bore and stock. Comes with an aftermarket scope and mount to put it in “sniper configuration”. Sling is present. Magazine is marked MP 44. The listing includes a spare mag. This rifle was test fired and it ran smoothly but note that these rifles are not meant to be range warriors. Buyer should not shoot surplus ammo through these or use them for blank fire. The parts are delicate and this rifle should not be used for fast fire.
