11/07/24 – For sale is an M1 Garand produced by Springfield in 1957. The rifle is fairly dusty and should clean up nicely. Looks to have been stored in a barn or attic for many years and could use a deep cleaning. The rifle functions perfectly fine. The metal does not have any active rusting or pitting and the gas cylinder has most of the finish loss. The stock is in good condition with no cracks or breaks. The bore cleaned up nicely and is bright with great rifling. The muzzle erosion rate a 3 and throat erosion is 2.
