1/30/24 – This is an original leather sling for a K98 rifle. The sling comes with an original keeper that’s maker stamped and dated “Kroymann & Co, Hamburg”. Only half of the stamp is legible. I believe it is dated “1938” but is difficult to be certain whether the last digit is an “8” or not. The leather has light surface wear but the original herringbone pattern is 85% remaining throughout. Sling has one minor surface crack as seen in the photos, but nothing that affects its durability. Overall in excellent+ condition.
