4/2/21 – This is a scarce Colt 1911A1 Government Model, made in 1924 as Colt transitioned from the 1911 to the 1911A1 design. This pistol is all original and in fantastic condition, with the high-polish blue rating at about 98% and showing only minor muzzle and high edge wear, and slight thinning on the bottom of the back strap. The grips show only minor handling wear and the bore is minty. The magazine is a proper two-tone civilian mag.
