10/31/24 – For sale is a MAS 49-56 rifle made at the ST Etienne Arsenal during the Cold War. This carbine was a shortened variant of the MAS 49 rifle with a 22mm NATO grenade launcher attached. The rifle is in excellent rearsenaled condition with a nice parkerized finish throughout the metal. There are plenty of handling marks and scratches but no corrosion or pitting. The stock, forestock, and handguard are also in equally excellent condition with minor handling marks. The stock was likely replaced during refurbishment and is not serialized. The rifle has matching serial numbers on the receiver, top cover, and bolt. The bore is very bright with great rifling. There is an import mark on the left side of the receiver.
