9/24/24 – This is an excellent, near mint condition example of a WW2 US M4 Bayonet. This example is maker stamped on the hand guard by Aerial, along with model designation stamp and a flaming bomb ordnance stamp. The blade is clean and minty with a light parkerized finish and clean factory sharpened edge. The blade appears unissued and never used. The hand guard and pommel show minimal surface patina and the double winged hooks on the pommel are smoothly functional. Clean and tight leather handle. Paired with this beautiful example is an equally excellent US M8 scabbard. The scabbard has a clean canvas frog and tied at the toe with a leg lanyard strap. A textbook WW2 example.
