08/26/2024 – For sale is a Romanian Instructie M1891 Mosin Nagant. These rifles were provided as aid to the Romanians when they had adopted the Mosin Nagant as their standard issue rifle. These older rifles were marked “Instructie” and meant for 2nd line or backup use. The rifle is in well worn condition and does not have much of its original finish left. There are some minor pitting on the receiver. The rifle has been “Balkanied / Balkan Scrubbed” where any markings of Imperial Russia had been scrubbed. The bore is very dark and dirty with some minor rifling visible when shining a light. The stock is in good condition without any cracks or breaks and is marked “Instructie” with a red band on the stock. The rifle is missing its cleaning rod.
