4/26/24 – This is a very rarely encountered Stevens Savage Model 620 riot shotgun, made as a part of US military procurement during WWII. Unlike its M520 counterpart, this was a hammerless model, very much like Winchester M12. They were produced in trench, riot and training versions with only ~12,000 total produced. This one is “US” property marked and has “P” and flaming bomb military proofs. The bluing rates roughly 85%. While there isn’t a ton of actual finish loss, there is obvious spotty brown patina throughout. No markings on the stock. Small hairline crack around the wrist. Very nice bore.
