11/27/24 – For sale is a Lee Enfield Jungle Carbine that had undergone FTR at Fazakerly in 1945. The carbine is a cut down variant of the Lee Enfield Family for the pacific theater. This example has the correct lightening cuts and features for a Jungle Carbine. The metal has a faded finish with a layer of patina and some brown spotting. The stock looks to be a replacement of some kind as it’s not numbered and the forestock is short. The bore is bright with great rifling. The rifle has matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, and magazine. There is an “England” early import stamp on the receiver.
