06/03/2024 – For sale is an example of a late war Type 99 Arsiaka that was starting to feature “Last Ditch” parts. This rifle is made by Toyo Kogyo and is a 35th series production. The rifle is all matching and there’s still some cosmoline packed into the bolt and magazine. The Imperial Mum has been ground away. The bore is mirror bright and excellent. The rifle comes with a late war bamboo scabbard Type 30 bayonet made by Toyoda Automatic Loom Works. The rifle comes with a reproduction dust cover but it is incorrect for a 35th series and never came with one.
