12/2/24 – For sale is a JP Sauer K98k made in 1938. The rifle is in nice condition overall with the metal retaining a nice bluing throughout. The receiver looks to have been buffed and polished with some of the Eagle Stamp buffed away. The stock is in nice condition but there are some splits occurring between the laminate layers on the bottom of the stock. The rifle has matching numbers stamped on the parts but the bolt and barrel bands appear to be re-stamped and force-matched after the war. The bore is dark with visible rifling. There is pitting visible about 2 inches from the muzzle.
