12/4/24 – For sale is a German G33/40 mountain carbine made by BRNO of Czechoslovakia. These carbines were based on the Vz.33 used by the Czech Army prior to occupation. This carbine is well-worn but in great condition. The metal has lost most of its original finish and is down to bare metal. There are spots of patina and oxidation throughout the metal. The stock is structurally sound but there is a small crack between the barrel band and nose cap on the bottom of the forestock. The carbine has matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, and stock. The bore is fairly bright with great rifling, but there looks to be buildup in the grooves that did not come out with a bore brush. The cleaning rod is absent.
