08/28/2024 – For sale is a very nice M1C sniper assembled using a 1945 Springfield receiver and a barrel produced in 1951. The rifle is overall in great condition with a smooth parkerized finish applied throughout the metal parts. The stock is in great condition with minor handling marks. The left side of the stock is stamped with the civil defense mark. The bore is bright but does get darker towards the muzzle. There are some spots of oxidation visible towards the muzzle. The muzzle erosion reads a 4 and the throat erosion is a 2. The M84 scope is clear with a sharp reticle. The rifle comes with a CMP certificate from when this rifle was first sold.
