09/27/2024 – For sale is a Krag Jorgensen Model 1899 Carbine. The carbine is in nice condition with the metal retaining a good bit of its original bluing, mainly on the barrel. The receiver has many spots of wear and patina as well as some prickling of oxidation throughout. The stock has been lightly sanded but there are two cracks coming from the rear of the trigger guard on both sides. About a 6 inch crack on both sides. The magazine trapdoor has a good bit of oxidation that’s browning with age. The bore is bright with good rifling. The rear sight is marked “C” for carbine.
