06/03/2024 – For sale is a scarce Z-prefix Remington 1903A3 rifle made in 1943. The Z prefix was stamped on 1903A3 and 1903A4 rifles that were duplicate serial numbers. When one was found, a Z stamped was applied. This rifle is in great condition with an overall 95% rating. There are some scratches on the parkerized finish mainly around the front sight and barrel. The stock is clean but looks like it has seen some service and has a lot of handling and wear marks but no cracks or breaks. The bore is mirror bright and excellent. The stock is stamped “FJA” on the left side of the receiver and the towards the buttplate is stamped “RIA EB”
