11/18/24 – This is a mint Colt AR-15 A2 HBAR Sporter from the late 1980s. It’s a desirable pre-ban example with several extras included. HBAR stands for “heavy barrel automatic rifle” and the barrel is 20in and chrome lined. Heavy ‘c’ marked bolt carrier. Other features include bayonet lug, large front take down pin, flash hider and no internal sear block. No reinforcement around the mag release button. Also included are two 30rd Colt magazines, as well as 3 H&K magazines, one 30 round, one 20 round, and one 10 round magazine. Also comes with the original Colt manual, scope rail adapter for carry handle, sling, M7 bayonet, and buttstock still retains its cleaning rod, but does not have the oiler. This rifle also comes with a Trijicon 3.5×35 ACOG scope that is in like-new condition. Scope has all of it’s original finish and the glass is crystal clear. The fiber optic is still functional. This scope comes with it’s original manuals, its neoprene cover and the cleaning tool. The reticle is the green BDC version.
