06/12/2024 – For sale is a is a M1 Garand produced by Springfield in December of 1944. This rifle is in great condition overall with the only blemishes being some handling marks and dings on the stock and some finish loss around the front sight base. The receiver and barrel have a worn parkerized finish. The stock is also in great condition with a “SA GAW” stamp and small cross cannons on the left side. The barrel is stamped for June of 1944. The drawing numbers on the parts are listed in the photo album. The bore is bright with good rifling but fully frosted over. The muzzle erosion reads a 4 and throat erosion reads a 2. The rifle comes with a USGI sling.
