11/18/24 – This is a very nice Springfield Armory M1 Garand from 1943. Barrel date to May of 1943. Original Springfield parts throughout. Fairly clear inspector cartouche visible on the stock. The metal finish is in very good condition throughout aside from the gas tube, which has most of the wear. Bore has good rifling but some frost throughout. Muzzle reading is a 3, throat is 2. Nice stock with no major defects but does show some dings and handling wear.
The rifle is nearly parts correct.
