9/6/24 – This is a nice example of a Walther PP sold in the commercial market in 1943. This one has a lightweight duraluminum frame. All matching with the proper “Eagle N” proofs. This particular gun is especially interesting, because a couple of the numbers in the serial on the frame have been factory over-stamped. The gun has lost virtually all of its original finish with some very light scratching on both sides of the slide. It does have a very nice plum-colored trigger. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips – there is noticeable cracking along the edge of the left panel. Comes with a period-correct wartime magazine. Mint bore.
