11/11/24 – This is a very nice example of an AC 41 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1941. All matching with the proper “Eagle 359” military acceptance proofs throughout, even on the small parts. It comes as a rig with a nice 1942-dated Bearskin (faint proof) hard shell holster and two mismatched magazines in the correct “h” serial range. The gun has retained about 92-93% of its original high polish bluing. There is muzzle wear, high edge wear, some scratches and pin-pricking along the right side of the slide, and some small scratches on the left side of the barrel. Fitted with period-correct blackish brown Walther grips, marked “Eagle 359”. Very nice bore with great rifling. De-cocker is functional.
