5/30/24 – This is a Mauser Banner Police luger from 1940, “Eagle/L” inspector proof on the right side of the frame. It has retained about 90 – 92%. of its original finish, with most of the wear on the left side of the gun, concentrated on the side-plate and the barrel. All numbered parts are matching, including the factory correct magazine. The sear safety has been removed, but he gun still functions properly, as the additional safety was a redundant feature. The bore is excellent, shiny with strong rifling. The grips appear original to the gun. One panel as a piece of brown tape to keep it from having a slight wiggle. The gun comes with a period correct police holster dated 1935, and a loading tool that is “Eagle/L” marked as well. Comes with an additional period correct, non-matching magazine.
