9/13/24 – This is a nice example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1940. All matching with the proper “Eagle 655” military proofs. It is in a “black widow”-like configuration, fitted with reproduction black plastic grips and comes with a reproduction black bottom magazine. The finish rates somewhere between 85-90%, with the majority of the wear along the barrel and around the muzzle. There is also general high edge wear and a light streak of wear on the front strap. The grips fit loosely, and the magazine does not lock up inside the gun (can be removed without pressing the mag release button). The bore is mostly in good condition, but there is a bulge toward the end of the barrel. It appears more like a deep ring, slightly different from other bulges we typically see (see photo).
