12/3/24 – For sale is a Smith & Wesson Model 586 revolver chambered in .357 Mag with a 5 7/8″ barrel. The revolver retains some of its bluing but it looks to have been affected by some kind of chemical spilling on to the top of the gun which has stripped and corroded away some of the finish on the frame, barrel, and cylinder. The bore is fairly bright but there is some pitting visible in the grooves. The grip had been replaced with a textured rubber grip.
