11/27/24 – This is a dummy Colt Single Action Army Revolver. Chambered in 44-40 Long Colt. The revolver is marked Japan on the bottom and used for firing blanks, as the barrel is welded. The revolver is in fair condition, with several mechanical issues: the action does not cycle smoothly, the cylinder fails to rotate, and the hammer occasionally sticks and does not fully decompress.
The barrel is a non-original replacement and has been welded. Despite these mechanical challenges, the finish is in good overall condition, displaying typical wear for its age but no signs of oxidation.
