3/11/24 – This is an excellent example of a First Generation Colt SAA army from 1905. Chambered in .44 Special with a 5.5 inch barrel. The cylinder is mismatched, and we believe it has been re-barreled with a .44 Special barrel. In any case, the finish rates about 93% with some muzzle wear, minor high edge wear, and areas of minor thinning on the round edges of the frame. Very nice case-hardening. Fitted with hard rubber grips – small chip in the left side left. Mint bore.
