10/10/24 – This is a Colt Model 1860 Army Revolver from 1863. All matching and in fair condition for its age. It has lost nearly all of its finish with spotty “attic patina” throughout. There are just hints of the original case-hardening visible on both sides of the frame. The original naval engagement scene on the cylinder is completely worn and not visible. Nice period-correct wood grips, but there is rounding on the edges and some small dings on the bottom edges. The bore has decent rifling for its age, but there is light surface rust throughout. Fully functional. No FLL required.
