8/7/24 – This is a nice example of a very early 2nd Gen Colt Single Action Army Revolver from 1956. Chambered in .38 Special with a 7.5 inch barrel. It has retained roughly 65% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is along the barrel. Very nice case-hardening on the frame. Comes fitted with nice ivory-colored checkered plastic grips. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is very light pin-pricking throughout and some fouling in the grooves. Smooth action.
