11/12/24 – This is a put-together Model 1911. The frame was made by Colt in 1918. The slide is a scarce WW2 Union Switch & Signal slide. The barrel is a WW2 High Standard. The gun has an old re-blued finish. There isn’t much actual finish loss, but there is light brown patina and areas of tiny pitting throughout. Fitted with WW2-era grips and comes with a post-war magazine. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is spotty oxidation throughout.
