6/13/24 – This is a U.S. Army issued and inspected Ithaca 1911A1 from 1943 that was sent to Britain as part of the lend-lease program. It has the proper U.S. military inspectors marks, and British proofs are visible on the right rear of the frame and slide, as well as the barrel. Proper HS barrel. It has retained about 94-95% of its parkerized finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap, so the profile views are minty. Fitted with very nice period-correct reddish bakelite grips and comes with one magazine. Also comes with post-war holster. Minty bore.
