9/23/24- This is a great example of a WW1 luger magazine. The base of the magazine has been ground and renumbered to “1836”. The base does have a “+” marking indicating that this was a spare magazine. The left roundel of the magazine does have a small chip, but this does not interfere with the function of the magazine. The body of the magazine does have patina throughout. The spring on this magazine remains strong and fully functional.
