11/21/24 – This is a great example of a French Cavalry Officer’s sword made in 1844. The blade on this sword is in great condition. The blade has no signs of sharpening but does have patina throughout. This blade is beautifully embellished with what is called “Blue and Gold”. The blue and gold finish on this blade is still very present and strong. The blade is marked near the cross guard. This blade does not come with a scabbard but does come with an period correct officers tassel that is in great shape as well.
