5/20/20 – This is an original US Mare Island flag. The flag is a No. 12, which is the smallest configuration of the U.S. Ensign flags made for the the navy during WW2. The smaller size makes this a great candidate for framing and display. These would have been flown on smaller Navy boats. The flag is 17×31 inches. The header / seam is marked “NO 12 US E MARE ISLAND”. There are some small moth holes as shown in photos. Generally in great condition.
