9/13/24 – This is a great example of a Swiss STG57 bayonet. Overall the bayonet is in great condition. The blade on this bayonet retains it’s original edge and has no signs of being sharpened. There are two small spots of edge damage, on on the right side of the blade and on the tip. The blade has the standard wear associated with standard scabbard use. The grip on this dagger is also in great condition with only two minor dents to the grip. The locking mechanism is still functional and strong. The scabbard on this bayonet is in great condition with only minor scratches. The frog is also in great condition, the leather is still pliable and the stitching is still present.
