4/11/22 – This is a fairly scarce, late war Walther flare pistol from WW2. The pistol is made of zinc, and features wood grips. The right side of the pistol shows an eagle proof stamp which signifies black powder use only. The frame is also eagle 359 acceptance stamped. 6 inch barrel has a clean interior bore (no rifling). The exterior finish has some small spots of discoloration and mild edge wear from previous use and aging, but no significant damage or flaws. The wood grips have a few very minor chips toward the base of the panels, but this is very minor – overall in great condition.
