10/15/24 – This is an excellent condition, early Walther P.38 magazine numbered for a zero series P.38 pistol. The magazine features a serial number stamped on the left side of the tube, “05159” followed by a “+” sign, meaning this was intended to be the spare magazine. The spine of the magazine also has two distinct eagle/359 military proof stamps. These stamps are side-by-side on the base of the spine, which is unique to early zero series variation magazines. The magazine has excellent original blued finish throughout the tube and baseplate. The follower shows light use wear, but overall this is a near-mint example. Strong and fully functional spring.
