7/11/19 – This is an original leather strap for a K98 rifle manufactured during WWII. The buckle is un-marked. E/655 military proof stamp is on the rear of the keeper stud. Waffen eagle WaA??? and maker code is faintly stamped on the rear of the sling. Something you don’t often see because these were worn off during use. The leather is soft, strong and completely in tact with no notable flaws. About 80% original herringbone texture is still visible on the exterior. The stitching is all original as well without issues. Guaranteed original.
