7/14/20 – This is a commercial Mauser C96 pistol and stock that were made around the start of the Great War. The pistol is all matching and original, including the original grips. There’s standard high edge wear from being inside of the wood stock, as well as some thinning on the grip frame and right side of the magazine well. The other minor drawback is that there are British export proofs on the underside of the barrel. The bore is shiny with strong rifling but does have some frost and a bit of freckling in the grooves. The pistol comes with an original, commercial stock that has the Mauser banner proof on it. It has a few dings, nicks or gouges but no cracks or chips. It is correctly unnumbered.
