3/26/24 – This is a very nice example of a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1917. It was reworked at an arsenal, likely for re-issue during WW2. It has a parkerized finish, fitted with WW2-era reddish plastic grips, and comes with a WW2 “R” marked magazine. Replacement barrel marked “RF1” on the lug. Excellent finish. Factory-new bore.
